Episode 8 Show Notes

Here are the official show notes for Episode 8: The Pants Split Not From The Heart But From The Crotch, which is a reference to, well Anthony splitting his pants.  Whoops.

Movies:

This week in movies we talk about all of the movies we’ve watched this week.  Anthony watched a few movies in theaters this week: Snow White and the Huntsman and Madagascar 3.  Plus a few movies at home including the original Planet of the Apes flicks, Charlie St. Cloud, and Beastly.  While Brent didn’t see anything in the theaters but did watch Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Piranha, and Piranha 3DD (which is available to watch in your homes right now!).

We give our takes on next weekend’s movie released That’s My Boy and Rock of Ages.  And go over some movie news including talks of the possible newest Avengers tie-in movie, a Justice League movie, and an Iron Patriot update?

TV:

Brent is caught up for the season finale of Mad Men and the season premiere of True Blood and gives his take on those series and Anthony talks about the Glee Season 3 DVD.  Brent is also looking forward to seeing a taping of Conan Monday night with Julie and friend of the podcast, Austin Cochran.

Comics/Books:

We discuss the new Ultimate Spider-man series with Miles Morales as Spider-Man, the latest Angel & Faith comic, Before Watchmen, Earth 2, as well as the Jimmy Fallon Thank You Note book that was recently released.

Video Games:

We talk about the latest and greatest in video game announcements from E3 including some talk about the new WiiU system, plus new games for the Wii U, 3DS, X-Box 360, and PS3.  And a release coming out this week Lollipop Chainsaw, which was written by a guy we both admire James Gunn.

In Your Mouth:

We briefly talk about Taco Bell and the success of the Doritos Locos Tacos and the new Beefy Nacho Burrito.  Plus the King of Pop is now literally the King of Pop.

What the Fuck is the Internet?:

We talk about the latest web series from Ken Marino Burning Love, which is a parody reality dating show starring Ken Marino, Kristen Bell, Natasha Leggaro, and Malin Ackerman (with tons of awesome cameos).

Listener of the Week:

Bryan Kraft is our listener of the week, since he is unexpectedly listening to our podcast and we spoil some Bryan Kraft family news.
